Requirements: 

  • Cat Requirements:
    • Cat must be greater than 1 year old 
    • You must provide us with a microchip, or registration number 
    • Birthdate of cat 
    • Name of cat
    • Breed of cat
    • Your cats weight 
    • Vaccine/ or vet records (not required but it could be requested as some cardiologists require this to verify weight). 
  • Your Info (if different than whats used in checkout): 
    • Name 
    • Phone Number 
    • Email (for the results to be sent to)
    • Address 
    • Relationship to cat, or who will be bringing the cat 
    • Ability to fill a Gabapentin prescription (you will need to give this to your cat 1-3 hours prior to your appointment). You may require ID depending on what region you are located in.  

 

 

Peace of Mind

For all cats/kittens from us - By the time you receive your cat or kitten it will be altered and vaccinated, and therefore examined on multiple occasions.

In addition we offer add-on vetting by a licensed Ontario Veterinarian to give that extra peace of mind prior to rehoming, or transfer of ownership.

As someone who has adopted before myself, I know that sometimes certain things can be overlooked.

We are pleased to perform any additional tests or treatments prior to, or on your rehoming date (at cost).

*please note that HCM screening does not take place until the cat/kitten is 1 year of age (minimum) due to validity issues.

You can even meet us at the vet clinic

All appointments will be made with our veterinarian while the cat remains in our care.

Physical Examinations - If you happen to be picking up your companion here in London, we will do our best to coordinate it so you can attend the appointment with us and leave with peace of mind following the same day exam.

HCM Ultrasound Appointments

Your cat/kitten must be over 1 year of age.

We will happily coordinate an appointment for you with one of the board certified Cardiologists we work with.

We charge a flat-rate of $650.00 + HST and appointments are made weeks to months in advance. One of our staff will reach out to you via email with your appointment date following your purchase (once an opening has been found).

*Most Cardiologists are paid in advance prior to your appointment* under no circumstances will there be a refund for 'no shows' or missed appointments.

We will do our best to make sure that we schedule at a clinic closest to you. Travel at your own expense is required.

We live in London, but must travel to Toronto for our cats (as not every vet office is equipped with the staff or tools for this procedure).

*Yearly HCM scans, at your expense are a mandatory component of your HCM guarantee*
