Collection: Health Screening

As a standard - Every cat/kitten sold by us will come with (2) FVRCP vaccines, Spay/Neuter, Microchip and at least (1) comprehensive exam(as this is included in our adoption fees).

 Individualized Screening gives added piece of mind - Like most responsible catteries, we routinely test our breeding Kings/ Queens plus a random pick of the litter. Choosing additional care options through us will allow for personalized screening for your specific cat/kitten prior to it being transferred into your care.

Testing Regardless of Symptoms - Outside of routine testing, no cattery in the world will pay for a full biochemistry work-up or respiratory PCR on kittens that appear objectively healthy. The whole purpose of dedicating our lives to the maintenance of a clean environment is to maintain healthy cats and avoid the need for en-masse tests (costing thousands) amongst all cats/kittens.
We will happily however offer additional at cost PCR, bloodwork or cultures even when your kitten is not clinically presenting with any signs of disease.

If something is found, treatment is on us - If an illness is found during the time that the cat/kitten remains in our care, the treatment remains our responsibility.

 The screening options here (besides HCM scans) are optional. They are in addition to the above.

We will keep you in the loop in regards to these additional tests prior to the re-home date. Additionally, you will receive a complete copy of the veterinary reports following your adoption/ transfer of ownership.

1 - You pay for the veterinary expense.

2 - We coordinate the care and communicate with you.

Please indicate to us during checkout (in the message region) which kitten you have in mind and would like these tests for.

A deposit or adoption fee payment is NOT required. However, please note that the costs of these additional tests and procedures will NOT be refunded once performed on the cat/kitten.

3 - You have piece of mind knowing in depth the details of your kittens health.

Licensed Veterinarians are only allowed to work with and disclose information to the legal owner of the cat/kitten.

Once you have brought your cat/kitten home it is your responsibility (as the new legal owner) to source routine or emergency veterinary care.

In the event that we do one of these additional screening tests prior to the kitten leaving our home, we will assume the financial responsibility of treating the cat/kitten if adverse findings are found in an otherwise healthy looking cat/kitten.
